The AI game builder where you direct and the AI builds
You don't write code — you direct games. Tell the AI what to build, watch it work live, and keep shaping your game by chatting until it's exactly what you imagined.
- Give the directionDescribe your game — or paste in a wild idea and let the AI figure out how to make it playable.
- Direct the buildWatch the AI work and keep talking: queue up your next ideas, or drop one into the build in progress.
- Ship itPublish to a public page with likes, comments and remixing. Keep releasing new versions any time.
Building a game means directing, not configuring
Most game builders hand you menus: pick a template, choose a character pack, toggle some checkboxes. MakePlay works like a studio instead. You're the director; an AI crew handles art, music, code and testing. You say “make the boss slower but give it a second phase” and the crew rebuilds that part of the game — you never touch a config screen.
Direction doesn't stop while the AI works, either. You can queue follow-up ideas that send themselves when the current build finishes — even if you close the page — or jump an urgent note straight into the build in progress.
From first prompt to published game
Every build ends with something you can actually play, right in the browser. When you like what you have, one click publishes it: MakePlay freezes a snapshot, checks it, and puts it on a public share page where anyone can play without installing anything. Change your mind later? Publish a new version — or roll back to an earlier one.
A builder, not a template picker
Under the hood the AI writes real JavaScript against real engines — PixiJS for 2D, three.js for 3D, Rapier for physics — and generates original art and audio per game. That's why two games built from similar prompts still look and feel different: nothing is assembled from a shared kit. It also means there's no ceiling — if you can describe a mechanic, the builder can attempt it.
Built with the AI game builder
The games players love most on MakePlay — this is where directing an AI game builder gets you. Playable in one click.
