Very reminiscent of the old zelda series on the famicom. A bit hard to manage playing on a keyboard. A lot of promise though.
Haha, being compared to old-school Zelda on the Famicom means a lot, that's genuinely one of the highest compliments I could get! Really appreciate you playing on keyboard and flagging that friction. Just shipped a full keyboard control overhaul (WASD movement, proper key bindings for everything, better diagonal movement). Give it another go and let me know how it feels!
