7 New MakePlay Features: Text-to-3D, Achievements & More

Discover seven MakePlay updates: Text-to-3D generation, achievements, in-game Coin Shops, Play Career, Friend Activity, game slot improvements, and file uploads.

A new wave of updates has arrived on MakePlay.AI! From generating your own 3D models to designing achievements and introducing in-game purchases, we're bringing more possibilities to both Directors and players.

Here are seven new features and improvements you can explore right now.

1. Text-to-3D Generation Is Live!

Your imagination, now in 3D.

Directors can now generate their own 3D models directly on MakePlay using the brand-new Text-to-3D feature.

You can find it in [Toolbox], which has been moved to the top of the website for easier access.

How does it work?

Describe your idea. Tell the AI what kind of object or character you want to create in a single sentence.
Customize your model. Select your preferred art style, model type, model category, and model details.
Refine and preview. Let AI help refine your idea and generate four candidates to choose from.
Make your selection. Pick your favourite candidate to proceed with the final generation.

MakePlay Text-to-3D generation feature — Turn your ideas into original 3D models with AI.

Once you've made your choice, the generation task will run automatically. Sit back, sip your coffee, and let AI handle the rest!

Your finished model will appear in [My 3D Models], ready for you to use in your projects.

Coin Cost: Text-to-3D generation consumes Coins. The cost depends on the number of faces in your model.

2. Achievement System: Reward Every Milestone

Every game has its own challenges, surprises, and memorable moments. Now Directors can turn them into achievements!

The new Achievement System lets Directors design achievements for each of their games.

Be it funny or be it challenging, you decide what players need to accomplish. From completing difficult levels to discovering hidden secrets, put your players' skills and dedication to the test.

All achievements are connected to MakePlay.AI, allowing everyone to see how many players across the platform have unlocked each achievement.

For Directors: Want to add achievements to your game? Simply tell the AI Agent what achievements you'd like to create in a single sentence.

3. In-game Coin Shop: Bring Purchases Into Your Game

Directors can now introduce in-game purchases with Coins, giving players more ways to interact with and support their favourite games.

With the new In-game Coin Shop, Directors can offer a variety of items, including:

Skins to customize characters and appearances.
Revive items to give players another chance.
EXP scrolls to help players progress.
And more, depending on your game's design.

MakePlay In-game Coin Shop — Create your own in-game Coin Shop and offer items for players to purchase with Coins.

Players can purchase these items directly inside the game using Coins, supporting their favourite creations while enjoying additional gameplay content.

For Directors: Adding an In-game Coin Shop is simple. Just describe what you'd like to sell to the AI Agent, and let it help you bring the shop into your game.

4. Play Career: Your Playtime, Your Identity

Your time spent playing games now counts towards something more!

Introducing Play Career, a new progression system that lets players advance across nine game categories based on their playtime.

MakePlay Play Career progression system — Explore nine Play Career categories and track your progression through gameplay.

As you spend more time playing games in a particular category, you'll progress through that category's career and earn unique titles to display alongside your name and level.

Whether you enjoy action-packed adventures, strategic challenges, or something more relaxing, your Play Career reflects the kinds of games you love.

For Directors: You can also select a category for your game. Game categories are separate from game tags, helping distinguish a game's career classification from its descriptive labels.

5. Friend Activity: See What Your Friends Are Playing

Curious about what your friends have been playing lately?

You can now check which games your friends have played and how much time they've spent playing them, directly on the game page.

Discover new games through your friends, compare your adventures, and find something new to play together!

6. Game Slots: More Flexibility for Directors

We've heard your feedback!

Permanently removing a game from Trash now restores its occupied game slot.

This means you can free up a slot by permanently removing a game you no longer need. Please remember that restoring a slot does not grant an additional slot beyond your existing allocation.

Looking for more slots to publish your creations? Keep an eye on our community events, where you can earn additional slots through participation.

7. More File Formats Supported: TXT & MD

We've also expanded the file formats supported by the MakePlay AI Agent.

Directors can now upload TXT (.txt) and Markdown (.md) files directly in the Agent chat.

Whether you're preparing game concepts, organizing design notes, or sharing written instructions, you now have more flexibility when communicating your ideas to the Agent.
