Feedback & Report: Help Creators Fix Bugs, Flag What Breaks the Rules

New games land on MakePlay every day. Most are made with care; a few break, and a few break the rules. The people best placed to notice are the ones actually playing — so every game page now has a Feedback button, right under the game next to Share, that does both jobs.

Feedback: a note straight to the creator

Tap Feedback and choose Bug Report when something broke, froze, or didn't work the way it should — or Suggestion when you have an idea: a level that's too hard, a control that feels off, a feature you wish it had.

Only the creator sees it. Feedback isn't public like comments, and it has no effect on the game's standing on the platform. Most MakePlay creators are building solo, often testing on a single device. A clear bug report from a player on a different phone or browser is frequently the only way they'll find out something is broken.

Report: when a game crosses the line

Report is for content that breaks MakePlay's rules — not for games that are unfinished, buggy, or simply not your thing. To report a game:

Open the game page and tap Feedback.
Tap report this game at the bottom of the window.
Pick one or more reasons: sexual content, harassment or abuse, spam or ads, plagiarism or infringement, scam or fraud, child safety, or other.
Add a note if it helps, choose whether to also block the creator so their games stop showing up for you, and submit.

A short note helps the review a lot — which scene or level the problem is in, or where the original is if you're reporting plagiarism.

What happens after you report

Reports go to the MakePlay team, not the creator, and the creator never sees who reported. Every report is reviewed. Games that break the rules are removed from public view and the creator is notified of the violation. If a game is cleared, nothing changes — for the game or for you. Reporting in good faith is always welcome, even when the game turns out to be within the rules.

Rewards are given only after review. When the MakePlay team confirms that a game you reported does break the rules, you receive a badge and an avatar frame — a thank-you to the players who keep MakePlay a place worth playing. Submitting a report on its own doesn't earn a reward.

The program is ongoing, not a limited event. One ask: report what genuinely breaks the rules, not what you'd simply rather not see. Accuracy is what counts.

What's the difference between Feedback and Report?

Feedback is for the creator: bug reports and suggestions that help them improve the game, sent privately. Report is for the platform: content that breaks MakePlay's rules. It goes to the MakePlay team, not the creator.

Does the creator see who reported their game?

No. Reports are handled by the MakePlay team only. If a game is removed, the creator is told it violated the rules — not who reported it.

What should I report, and what if my report isn't upheld?

Report content that breaks the rules. A game that's unfinished, buggy, or not to your taste isn't a violation — send Feedback instead, or just move on. Horror, dark themes, and mature storytelling are allowed within the rules. If your report isn't upheld, nothing happens to the game or to you.

I found a bug. Should I use Feedback or the comments?

Feedback. Comments are public and meant for players talking to each other; a Bug Report goes straight to the creator without calling the game out publicly.
